About EAS
In the fall of 2000, Student Resources, a Division of the MEGA Life and Health
Insurance, a UICI company, formed the Education Association Services (EAS) Group to further serve and educate students, families and schools on the related issues of "paying for college." In
the fall of 2001 EAS became an independent private company, EAS Group, LLC.
EAS has partnered with a select group of highly regarded independent educational
professional associations who recognized the important need to assist and educate their members on
the frightening topic of "paying for college."
In collaboration with the associations, it is our vision to provide a trusted,
unbiased comprehensive resource center for "paying for college" information. Our primary objective is to assist students and families obtain their goals throughout college and the years beyond.
The EAS Education Resource Center also provides information and carefully
selected education related products and services to help association members,
constituents and friends identify intelligent solutions to fulfilling their education financing and student insurance obligations.
To achieve our mission, EAS developed two new entities, the Education Resource Center (ERC) and the EAS Alliance Group. The Education Resource Center is a web based "one-stop" comprehensive destination for "paying for college" information, education, solutions, educational loans, student insurance and other related products and services for
association alliance group members. Unique to the ERC, is that it places emphasis on aiding in the understanding and recognition of the relationship of education financing with the achievement of successful college and beyond experiences.
The EAS Alliance Group is a strategic network of independent associations who share a deep interest and commitment to education and the advancement of their profession or cause. The EAS Alliance Group represents over 6 million association members (undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, alumni, veterans and professionals). Because of the combined representation offered by the alliance,
EAS has negotiated for association members an extensive array of products and services that are much greater than would be available from a single source. No other entity currently provides such a combination of trusted "affinity" endorsed or sponsored "paying for college" information, products and services.
If you are not a member of one of the Alliance Associations, you are invited to use the EAS
Paying for Education Resource Center by becoming a member of the American College Student Association (ACSA)! Both members and non-Alliance members are invited to apply online for ACSA membership. The ACSA membership fee of $12 is waived for those who enroll online.
